FOUNDING MASTER
The first Master, and the bar for all who follow.
The platform’s first Master, and the one who set the bar for what a Medars masterclass is: real technique, complications included, and the judgement to decide when not to treat. Creator of the Mandíbula de Diamante technique and president of the 1st Medars Congress. His Signature Masterclass is available from day one.
The congressMASTERS
Who is already recording their masterclass.
Every Master joins by invitation and every masterclass goes through the scientific committee before publication. Those in production are announced here and reach the app as soon as they are published.
INJECTABLE TECHNIQUE
From the basics to advanced techniques.
The core of the library is injectable technique. Each masterclass starts with applied anatomy, continues with the step-by-step protocol and ends with managing complications, which is where open training usually falls short.
Botulinum toxin
Botox course for doctors: units, dilution, injection sites and assessment of the upper third of the face. Includes treatment of bruxism, a gummy smile and management of eyelid ptosis as a complication.
Dermal fillers
Hyaluronic acid applied to the lips, nasolabial folds, under-eye areas and chin. Choice of density depending on the area, cannula versus needle technique, and protocol in the event of vascular occlusion.
Facial harmonisation
Planning the entire face rather than isolated areas: proportion, projection and treatment sequence. Includes mandibular contouring and profile correction.
Biostimulators
Sculptra, calcium hydroxyapatite and polynucleotides. Indications, reconstitution, application techniques and realistic expectations regarding results over time.
Thread lifts
Choice of material, traction vectors, insertion technique and which patient is really a candidate, which is usually the hardest decision.
Complications
Early detection, a protocol for action and emergency equipment that must be available in every practice that administers injections.
BEYOND THE TECHNIQUE
Practising also means managing.
Clinical training alone does not sustain a practice. These masterclasses cover the part of the trade that no degree teaches.
Business management
Pricing structure, margins per treatment, contracts, regulatory compliance and scheduling for in-house or rented clinics.
Ars oral
Clinical communication and the first consultation: how to explain a treatment, manage expectations and say no to a request that is not indicated.
Social media
A professional presence within the limits of healthcare advertising in Spain. What can be shown, what cannot, and how to document a case properly.
HOW PUBLISHING WORKS
No course is self-published.
Masters are verified doctors who publish and sell their own masterclasses within the society, with a 70% share going to the author. Each masterclass can be offered in three formats: the recording only; the recording plus one month of direct follow-up from the doctor delivering it; or those two plus a certificate. Each format has a price based on membership tier, with the price decreasing as the tier increases. Furthermore, any member can request an in-person class, and we will organise one if there is sufficient demand. Before being added to the library, all masterclasses undergo editorial review of their content and clinical criteria.
